Pure Ghee - Made from Kerrygold cultured butter (8oz)

This probably is the most yellow ghee that you will ever see.  Yellow color is the sign of high content of fat-soluble vitamins, which are found in milk of cows eating rapidly growing grass.   Kerrygold butter is made only from spring and summer milk of cows grazing on beautiful lush pastures of Ireland.  This is why ghee made from Kerrygold butter is so yellow and so full of vitamins, which are vital to human health.  This aromatic ghee is semi-liquid at room temperature, has grainy texture and wonderful mild flavor.  Lactose- and casein-free.  Gluten-free.  Comes in a sealed 8 oz glass  jar.

Unlike butter, ghee is lactose- and casein-free.  It is prepared by removing all milk solids from butter, and the end product is a very heat-stable aromatic fat, that won't smoke and burn like butter, and won't go rancid easily.  Since all fragile proteins that easily get damaged by heat are removed, ghee is perfect for cooking.  It can also be spread on toast or bread, melted onto hot foods like rice or veggies, or used as a supplement.  Ghee gives an absolutely delicious flavor to foods!

One of the unique properties of ghee (if it is very pure) is its ability to penetrate deep into the cells (butter doesn't possess this feature).  This is why fat-soluble vitamins (there is a load of them in grassfed ghee!) are absorbed much easier from ghee than even from raw butter.  Penetrating ability of ghee can be effectively utilized by using ghee as a carrier delivering nutrients and desired herbal compounds to organs and tissues.  This property of ghee has been known in ancient India, and Ayurvedic medicine is employing it effectively.
